For more than a decade, Hope Builds — known affectionately by its team as the Hope Floats Initiative — partnered with underserved communities to deliver free surgical care and improve standards of living. That work was made possible by the dedication of volunteer surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and support staff, and by the generosity of partners who provided supplies and equipment.
