200 Surgeries- July 17th,2012 Mission
Our surgical team in Osun State, Nigeria carried out a mobile surgical mission, completing 200 surgeries in one day! The July 17, 2012 mission was done in partnership with Nigerian Medical Association and the state’s Ministry of Health.
Makoko Floating Clinic Demolished
We lost our floating clinic due to ongoing demolition in Makoko settlement. On the bright side the doctors have transferred their efforts to in-country missions targeting remote communities lacking medical services. 3rd MedShare Container Delivered!
Thanks to our partners and sponsors at Medshare we have delivered the 3rd container (April 20th) to our surgical team in Nigeria! The container contained over 1000 boxes of critical medical supplies, valued at over a $150,000 US. These critical supplies help us offer life-saving surgeries at no cost to patients.
